Bioinformatics Intern at ATCC

The Associate Biologist Summer Intern Program provides students with an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge ATCC projects that support scientific and break-through research, improving the health of global populations. Program participants will:

Responsibilities

  • Help in the design and creation of a relational database for next generation sequencing metadata.
  • Develop a data visualization dashboard using R Shiny or a related data science web app publishing platform.

Qualifications
Program Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Rising 3rd or 4th Year Undergraduate, enrolled in an accredited university and working toward a degree in biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, computer engineering or a related science.
